Thomas Robert Malthus’s most famous research project was his famous, An Essay on the Principal of Population. He pointed out the growth of the population is almost always dependent on the growth of the population’s resources, in particular the primary resource of food. In Brave New World, the Malthusian belt is used for birth control. The name of the birth control is alluded to Thomas Robert Malthus. Aldus Huxley refers to Malthusian theories on population.]]http://cepa.newschool.edu/het/profiles/malthus.htm
